Moderna Museet (Modern Art Museum)

Founded in 1958 by the Swedish State, the Moderna Museet benefits from an ideal location on the island of Skeppsholmen in central Stockholm. Its collection of art spans over a century and comprises numerous international artworks, paintings, art prints, photographs, films and videos as well as sections dedicated to Swedish and Nordic arts. Internationally acclaimed for its creativity and its avant-gardism, the Moderna Museet is today regarded as one of the most prestigious museums of modern and contemporary art across the world.

Moderna Museet owns two artworks by Ilhan Koman. Moderna Museet organises the Hulda Festival’s youth workshops in Stockholm.

Komans Konstförening (Koman’s Art Association)

Komans Konstförening is the Swedish counterpart of the Turkish Ilhan Koman Foundation since 2004. It participates in most of the activities of the Ilhan Koman Foundation, enriching them with the involvement of stakeholders from Northern countries.

Komans Skeppsmakeri (Koman’s Shipbuilder Company)

Komans Skeppsmakeri is a craftsmanship company specialised in traditional shipbuilding founded in Stockholm in 1995 by Korhan Koman, the youngest son of Ilhan Koman. Komans Skeppsmakeri led the shipbuilding of the famous Brig "Tre Kronor of Stockholm," a reconstruction of Gladan, a Brig first built in 1857.

Komans Skeppsmakeri is in charge of the Hulda boat’s preparation and technical maintenance for her trip to Turkey.
